Up above i watch the world from a secondary lens,
The busy beings the busy buses and passing beats.
As the sun sets the jobless attempt to make amends,
The meek sheep clothe alligator skin on these streets.

The vendor's vegetable stand, withstands the elements,
Every corner abundant with drug tainted potential.
Noisy notorious vehicles receive pretentious compliments,
The innocent seek approval from an imperfect role model.

Resolving rowdy riots takes state priority,
This heaven, has angels with inner demons.
This Eden, is abundant with fatality,
The respected and revered are troubled with court summons.

The outcome of 'locating' according to race,
Now manifests itself through disgrace.
