I CANT SLEEP

I cant sleep, my eyes refuse to be in the dark.
I cant sleep, my dreams waken gloomy nightmares.
I cant sleep, my soul reminds my mind its restless.
I cant sleep because of its resemblance to death.

I cant sleep, what if i sleep and never wake?
I cant sleep, my thoughts constantly whisper ominous nothings in my mind.
I cant sleep, there are looming shadows by my bed side.
